John O'Conor is joined by the Academy Chamber Ensemble in the beautiful surrounds of our Shaw Room for a concert of chamber music greats by Dvořák and Beethoven.
“A pianist of unbounding sensitivity” (Gramophone), John O’Conor has garnered great critical acclaim for his masterly playing for over 40 years. His unanimous First Prize at the International Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna in 1973 opened the door to a career that has brought him all around the world.
